I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any set tolerances for the undercut of the barrier flight on a screw. Is there something like +/- .005"? I ask because there is nothing that I can readily find in regards to this. Thanks.

Jeff:

I typically design with a +/- 0.0025" barrier tolerance calling out for example a 0.035/0.040" clearance.
