I would like to create a die that would produce a solid continuous form trough the extrusion process using plastic.

You'll need a little more information- each type of thermoplastic has specific processing
requirements, and Die geometery also.

A good book on the subject is:
Extrusion Dies for Plastics And Rubber
by Walter Michaeli

another book that you might find helpful
is: The Dynisco Extrusion Processors Handbook
you can purchase this from your nearest Dynisco agent. It has general processing info,and gives some basic info on dies.
