My plant is interested in starting a new line manufacturing polyester sheet used to make plastic strap. What I am looking for is suggestions from fellow plastic-people on equipment manufacturers for items such as heated godets/roll stands , mill rolls, slitting equipment, dryers, extruders (1400+ lbs per hour), dies, and screen changers. I am pretty familiar with this equipment however I am very interested to hear names of companies that you recommend. Thanks so much!!!

Hello Strapgod
I currently work in the polyester strapping industry. While I've worked with many different names in the processing business, the most impressive is the current line I work with now. Built by SIMA and Dietze/Shelle this is an Italian built line capable a guaranteed 1600 pph output. Depending on a particular product we can run 6up x 5/8 x .040 strapping at avg speed of 260-285 fpm. While drying is the biggest issue reguarding a high output line such as
this, the equipment is top notch and very consistant in maintaining dialed in specifications.

Do you wish to manufacture PET polyester stappings by producing sheets and slitting them?Normally methoth is to produce straps in their final width and thickness in single or multihead dies.Can offer complete line for production either for PET sheets or strapping.
