We currently have 12,000 pounds of rpvc contaminated with foam tape, transfer tape, and paper liners. Does anyone have an idea on a cost effective way to remove these contaminates? We have tried to compound with screen packs but have failed. The breaker plate needed to be cleaned to frequently to justify saving the material. Any suggestions would help at this point. Thanks in advance for your help. IP: Logged |

You could try an air separation system, there are examples in texts on recycling. These are commercially available, but you could build an in-house system. Have a look at this link http://www.prsi.com/main/products/airmain.htm Steve H [This message has been edited by Steve H (edited 08-16-2002).] IP: Logged |
