I´m from Argentina and I am in the fifth year of the industrial engineering university course. Together with a group of other students, I am developing an investment project for a subject in my university which consists on the evaluation (technical and financial factibiity) of the building of a plant for manufacturing plastic sileage bags for agricultural purposes. The process for the manufacturing of these bags correspods to extrusion and we need data related to the characteristics and detalis of the process, equipment needed, raw materials needed, electrical energy consumed by equipment, etc. I would be very pleased if anyone could provide me with any of these pieces of information. Pocho, This is something you and your group are going to have to research for yourselves - you are asking too much. You need to contact the machinery manufacturers, you can start with companies like Brampton Engineering, Davis Standard and Dual Spiral Systems Good luck Peter P IP: Logged |

Pocho See if your uni library has or can obtain a copy of Plastics Extrusion technology Handbook 2ed by Sidney Levy and James f Carley ISBN 0-8311-1185-2 Chapter 11 Plant Design and Operations will give you some ideas, have a look at plastics news, they have pricing data for resin- Levy's figures will need to updated to reflect pricing in your country. Good luck with your studies Steve H IP: Logged |
