I am seeking information on the configuration of stainless steel nip rolls used as downstream equipment on a thermoset compound extrusion line. Do you know if the inside of the rolls are honeycombed to allow chilled water to cool the surface of the rolls evenly?

If so. Can you suggest an effective way to clean out the interior section of the rolls?
