Our Company has three extruders for
coating PVC on G.I.Wire used for manufacture of Chain link Fencing.

As you are aware that barrel are heated by band heaters, our heaters do
not heat the PVC compound evenly, as a result, PVC gets burned up in mid
screw where there is excess temperature, we would like to know how to regulate the temperature on the barrel so that by the time PVC reaches
Screw head the PVC is evenly heated.

This sounds like either a process parameter problem, and/or a screw design problem.

Are your screws bored for cooling, what L/D, Diameter, RPM etc
