We have 55 mm & 50 mm extruders making plastic shopping and want to increase the capacity of the lines. Require guidance on the alternatives in hardware and material blends to use.

Generally speaking, to increase rate on a blown film line, there are several options, such as:

- Increase cooling of the bubble
- Increase the melt strength (high viscosity polymers or colder melt)
- Larger die size

What is restricting your throughput now- bubble stability, extruder speed, etc.? Some more information would greatly assist.
