I am looking for a high quality printer - most likely ink jet - for printing on a PET product traveling in access of 450 fpm. Anyone have any ideas on this. I have found a few out there but too slow. Appreciate any help you can give.

You can try to contact LINX or Wedenbach of Germany they have the best pegmented ink around for PE .
