I'm in college and doing a report on plastic extrusion. I've found all I need except the HISTORY of this process. Do you know of any sites that may be helpfull. Thanks

Ask your Library to borrow - through an inter/intra library, the book titled "UNDERSTANDING EXTRUSIO", by Chris Rauwendaal. The ISBN # is 1-56990-233-X. Also, "POLYMER EXTRUSION" (same author), ISBN # 1-56990-140-6.

The last one I think has enough references in it for deeper study.

Also "TWIN SCREW EXTRUSION, Technology and Principle, by James L. White. ISBN# 3-446-15691-7. This to me is perhaps the best book of all that "dates" Twin Screw Technology.
