We have extrusion application for PLA-high molecule. Since it is not as corrosive as FEP, I would like to know if 440C stn. stl. is suitable material for contact area. We can always spec out Inconel. As far as screw is concerned what is best mixing design?

What are you going to mix, how much, how long is the extruder, single screw or twin screw, is there a vent?
