Good day everybody, I'm looking for information about how design a new (single) screw nozzle in order to avoid the stagnation of matter front of the nozzle. The nozzle of my screw is (I guess) too far from the breaker but I can not reduce this length. I know that screws using eccentric nozzle should reduce the stagnation of matter but where can I find such information ? IP: Logged |

I've used a simple 0.150" off-set of the nose angle. In this way, the material on the nose essentially wipes itself w/ each revolution greatly reducing localized residence time induced degradation... ------------------ www.ppsincorp.com IP: Logged |
