I've actually been looking for some active forums relating to work for quite some time, but only now came across this place.

I'm 30 years old and reside in North Carolina. I've only belted a net 6 years experience in Blow Mold extrusion, but there is something I genuinely love about my job.

Just chat away with me, I guess. Talk problems/solutions. share pictures, etc.

G'day David

Welcome to the single screw forum.
It certainly is facinating stuff this "plastic", I come from an electrical background and have only directly been involved with extrusion for 13 years, used to service instrumentation and drives prior to that.
Have you considered joining the Society of Plastics Engineers (no, you don't need an Engineering Degree, just an interest in or experiance with plastics) take a look at their website at SPE

Thanks for the link, Steve. I've been into plastics for about 11 years, but not soley Blow Molding. I've done some thermoforming and adhesive lamination, also. I didn't get to know the adhesive lamination machines too well because the company was bought out from a Canadian source, and, generally, the plant was mal-run.

Do you know if these are the most active forums on the 'net concerning Blow Mold - Extrusion?

You could try the forums at www.plastics.com, SPE's message boards get a bit of traffic too.
