we are curently trying to run styrene and i,m wondering should it be ran out at a rapid speed or not the part has several ribs and groves after i get it going it will run sevral hours then surge just a little any info would be great also what would the the melting points of styrene i run 300 to 350 IP: Logged |

This is a case where a data aquisition system would be usefull to track down the problem. This could be a problem with screw temperature, if everything else stays constant. Without some sort of screw temperature control, the screw can take an hour or more to stabilize it's temperature.
