Board, I have just started to work with recycled PET. I do brooms so is for the monofilament. The problem that I have is that the PET comes out really liquid or it comes out without the proper plastification. If you could tell me the temperatures with which I need to work will be great. I have 7 temp. stations. Another thing I need to know is to know with which materials should I mix PET so it works better???? Thanks a lot, abathen IP: Logged |

Abathen, Please see my response to your last post on this subject. The number one concern for PET processing is to get rid of the moisture in the PET by pre-drying or venting the extruder. Otherwise the PET will not process, period.
