I need to compound an ethylene copolymer (EVA-like) (MI 175)in pellet form with a liquid tackifier (very slow pouring- viscous) to produce small amounts of hot melt adhesive - less than 25 lbs/day. I am looking at small lab extruders. I have IM experience, but no extruding experience. Need advice about metering, as well as extruders, barrels and mixing screws.
