hi,
I am looking for single screw extruder's "Screw-design/screw geometry" for the production of wood plastic composites i.e I will be converting wood filled pallets(resin)into profiles.we are looking into a production capacity of 250kgs per hour.

Alig,

Screw designs can be classifed these three ways;

1) Does not work for your material
2) Works, but limited in capability
3) Highly optimized for your material

From the limited information you have provided it is impossible to fit any particular screw design in any of the above categories. Please provide a lot more detail.

These items influence the screw design;

Extruder screw diamter
Length
Vented barrel?
Expected die head backpressure
Resin type, viscosity
filler type, percent
Grooved feed?
Horsepower
Gear box
Barrel wear
Melt temperature requirment, limits

and other detils depending on the project.
