I currently extrude a range of tubes from 8mm ID to 32mm ID & and wall thickness from 1.25mm to 3mm. I use a vast range of Pin and Plate dies to do this, along with a combination of sizing dies. Has anyone experience of using 2 or 3 fixed Pin and Plate profiles (rigid / non adjustable)and a sizing / calibration die to achieve the desired profiles? This, if feasible, would save me huge amounts of downtime / die changing and tooling costs.
