Hi,

I would like to know what is the acceotable wear on a extruder barrel for blown film.
Is it 0.001 inch, 0.003 or else.

I generally consider a screw worn out when it is at or below 99.33% of the barrel's original ID. Use that as a guide for the barrel. Please contact me if you are interested in a barrel bore gauge.
