Your output seems high when compaired to the results of the extrusion calculator at: http://www.plasticextrusion.info/ The first thing I notice is the low RPMs for the screw diameter you are using. However it may be difficult to get higher RPMs without surging if your specific output, Kg/Rev, is greater than it should be for your screw diameter. An extruder of 45MM diameter should be able to run up to 250RPMs or so without problems. Output rates would approach 100 KG/Hr. Proper screw design is required. ------------------
