Is possible to produce biorientation in extrusion? What parameters should i adjust to achieve my goal?

Hi Rei

Welcome to the single screw forum, what extrusion process are you using?

The amount of bubble inflation adds orientation in the transverse direction while hauloff adds it in the other.

For cast film/sheet, you can only draw the material down to add orientation in the machine direction, to add it in the transverse direction the film needs to be heated and mechanically pulled in that direction.

Thank you so much, i asked about the cast/sheet extrusion. So, if i donīt pull the sheet i get any orientation. Thank you so much
