for a santoprene 65A duro profile with .025 wall,the die should be 10%-15% bigger??thanks for the help.

How do you say that in english ? is it drawdown or drawdawn for the die???Thanks for the help.

The term is draw down ratio.

Materials which are very stiff typically have low draw down ratios, 5%. Soft and rubbery materials tend to have higher draw down ratios. Low melt strength will increase draw downs which act against droop. These ratios tend to be derived from expereince. Once determined, they are fairly consistent.
