Hello. I am the process engineer at a place that produces closed cell foam. We are currently having some problems with air traps in our cured product ranging in size from pennies to silver dollars and larger. The air traps mainly occur in our SBR-EPDM blend stocks. Interestingly, the problem just started occuring after several months of virtually no issues. Granted, the weather has started getting warmer, but last May was a good month. Can anyone offer any help? Thanks. IP: Logged |

Seems we heard from you about this last summer. It would seem that moisture or a warmer material being fed to the extuder is influencing your process. ------------------ Tom Cunningham www.ExtrusionTechnicalServices.com IP: Logged |
