Try http:\www.plastics.com

There is a primer on this, but you'll have to do an inquiry search under "PVC".

The "primer" Ken refers to is in the "Resource" section of www.plastics.com
However, I did not discuss specific formulations in that article.

A good basic(TWIN SCREW) formulation for uPVC pipe is:

PVC Homopolymer (K-65)-----------100 parts
K120N Acrylic process aid----------1.0 "
CaCO3 filler (1-2 micron)----------3.0 "
TiO2(Rutile)-----------------------1.0 "
Carbon Black (if grey is desired)--"pinch"
Tin "reverse mercaptoester"
Stabilizer (ala Rohm & Haas'TM694--0.4 "
Ca stearate------------------------0.4 "
165 Paraffin Wax-------------------1.2 "
AC 629A Oxidized PE Wax------------0.25"

Blend in a high intensity mixer, cool, and
transfer to a silo or a gaylord box, to feed
the hopper with powder blend.

Have fun!!

I stand corrected Skip. Thank you. To much to read, to much forgotten. Senior momentum is building on me.
