We are experencing a lot of color streaking in flexible PVC especially in the grey and beige families and was wondering if anyone out thre has the same problem and if they can offer any advice on solving this problemIP: Logged |

Sounds to me like it may be a poor dispersion of the colorant being used, or particle size, and could be simply caused by the base polymer used as the carrier (incompatable?).I'd suggest highly that you look into Liquid Colorants - from FERRO, in Stryker (Indiana or Ohio). IP: Logged |

You need to look at your process pellet dye, powder dye, never the twain shall meet. What is the difference in OP temp ,(Some dyes can dramaticaly change what you would consider to be standard Temp profiles do you purge In - between and what ------------------
