Hello,

I work for a company that is producing door and window profiles by using rigid PVC. Is there anyone who can tell me what should be the moisture ratio for the PVC compound (dry blend) should be.

Your dryblend, if mixed to 110-120C, SHOULD BE virtually moisture free---unless it is shipped to you from another location and is exposed to high humidity, maybe picking up a fraction of a percent moisture.
In any event, a good vented twin screw extruder pulling a good vacuum should be able to handle up to 2% moisture.

Thanks for the answer but %2 seems to be too much to me. Are you sure that it is %2 or %0,2 ?
