Hi! I am a PET production line process engineer, we have APET and PETG sheet production with the range from 0.12 mm to 1 mm thickness; for those years, i have a serious problem on the quality of product, there have bubbles and very small black spots comes out from the T-Die of the twin screw extruder, but sometimes may not happen, but sometimes happen for a period of times (nearly few days or a month). Can anyone give me some suggestions or method to solve this problems? Thanks a lot! IP: Logged |

Hi I really do prefer replying to a post where the poster has put his/her name to it, first name is fine Bubbles in the sheet: if there's any sign of degredation in the material surrounding them, I'd look at drying. Black specs: Are you running regrind? Otherwise look for any hangup points and give everything a good clean regularly. Steve H IP: Logged |

Sounds like a moister problem, or mabey contamination. Are the blisters sparsed out across the sheet or are they globbed together?Curious: What does your head pressure(s) do when the blisters hit? IP: Logged |
