Hi KenWith T'forming PP, the formers equipment is a bigger issue, they need to have excellent zone control on their heaters, and be able to precisely control both cooling and heating on their moulds. But there are grades we've found that are better,(higher output/per RPM, better surface appearance etc), to extrude than others. Steve

Well Steve H: I am a past SkyDiver, and it's a comforting factor to know that every time I packed my own "chute, it opened. Only once did I go off course, but that was due to winds going different directions at different altitudes. I landed about 1 mile off-course, into a tomato farm. You should have seen the migrent workers when they saw me in my white and bloody looking jump suit. Anyhow, I'd be interested if you would post the PP resin grades you think are best for thermoforming. IP: Logged |
