I am going to be working with a customer on a project trying to extrude monolayer PVOH blown film.

I am comfortable with the extrusion / die side, but I have no clue what this stuff will act like as a film.

Will it have a very low melt strength?
Is PVOH extensible, stiff, or what?
Is there anything that will make it difficult to wind (i.e. excessive shrinkage, tendancy to block on the roll, etc.)?

I appreciate any insight or leads.

Thanks,
