G'day Ian Sheet is more my thing, but a great resouce for film extrusion is "Film Extrusion Manual- Process, Materials, Properties" it was published by TAPPI if you go to TAPPI's website and get into ther bookstore, you'll find it http://www.tappi.org/index.asp?rc=1&pid=2746&ch=8&ip= It costs $145 US but it's A4 sized and 765 pages and lots of info on extrusion generally and cast/blown film.Steve H [This message has been edited by Steve H (edited May 03, 2003).] IP: Logged |

Ian,It is common for gusset boards to be made at a 12 degree angle. So if you take the top of your right triangle to be the gusset depth that you require, then use a 12 degree angle at the bottom, you should be able to figure out the size of gusset board. If you can't figure it out, tell me how deep your gusset will be and I'll punch the calculator for you. -Bob Cunningham IP: Logged |
