I am interested to procure the design of 2 layer film die for extruding LDPE+HDPE material upto 1500mm width (750mm layflat width). The film thickness will vary from 25 microns to 250 microns. The die should be of fixed design (non-rotating), suitable for 2 separate 50mm single screw extruders provided with rotating nip roll take-off. Complete design required for manufacturing the die is needed. The head should be with 175mm die lip size.We would like to hear from suitable sources and the cost of job. IP: Logged |

What price are you willing to pay for the design, steel recommendations, and electical schmatics?Designs don't come cheap, and you'll need rheology data to submit, so that the design can be made to accomadate it, as well as the final film thickness's of each layer.

I am prepared to pay 450 USD for obtaining the drawing of complete head.Thanks.. I will take care of metallurgy and selection of steels myself, so also the electrical heaters and control part of it. I need design for fix die and not rotating. Mainly, I want to know the design of spiral mandrel, the dimensions like lead, starts, and polymer feed ports (I want diametrically opposite feed ports). I think there is a board member that sells software for die design, you could design it yourself. Would that work? You might want to consider, however, that many of the Blown Film Machinery companies have a lot of experience in not only design, but manufacturing of these pieces. -Bob Cunningham IP: Logged |
