Good morning,A company that make bubble wrap ask us to produce a monolayer film for is application. The company is using film to make bubble wrap with 3/16 inch size bubble. But when they try to make bubble wrap with more than 1/2 inch bubble the air in the bubble does not stay long enough and they say the air travel between the bubbles. It seems that with bigger bubble the sealing is not good enough. I found a blend of 70% LLDPE hexene(0.925 density,0.8 melt) and 30% LDPE (0.923 density,0.5 melt) but I not sure if it's the best one. I will be grateful if someone can inform me about some blend for monolayer film that can be used for bubble wrap and have good sealing properties. Thank you Best regards Glen Lemoine IP: Logged |
