Dear members,
I am looking for a PVC heat shrinkable film tube (0.050 mm thickness) making machine and I have a lot of offers. I have no experience in these machines and I do not understand how they make the tube shrinkable, the machines look like making normal film. My requirements for shrink are: TD max 50% and MD max 10%.
Many thanks.

The only way I know of to make "heat-shrinkable" PVC tubing is to stretch the tube axially(radially) as it exits the die----i.e. "blow" the tube up to a larger diameter before entering the cooling tank.
Once cooled and set, the residual stress should provide shrinkage tubing when heat (like a hair dryer) is applied. Years ago, a company in California (RayChem) used to produce PVC "shrink tubes". Not sure if they still exist.
