Nowadays we have several wearing problems in our nitrited screw elements of ZSK-170 TSE when we are processing PP whith melt index (MFI) between 0.2 to 0.3 (2.16 Kg @ 230°C).

Is anybody whith similar situation?

We are thinking to move/change at wear resistant elements, but we are interested in reviewing the configuration too

Are you sure you're in the right forum? Why would you be using a twin screw to process PP?

Regards,
