I think your site could be of great assistance to our company .We purchased a
Bausano MD2/66C19-HK Twinscrew extruder from Italy ,Its a great machine
,Microchip controlled etc but because we have people who are not very familiar
with this type of machine which has led us to producing a large amount of
waste before we come up with a pipe and running the pipe at around 40% of the required speed as a result we are not producing the right amount hence
unfavourable sales figures. So i wanted to find out if i could give you the type of raw material we use ,its chemical compositions and the temperatures we
run the materials at so you can give me information on how to run the machine
at full swing.

Welcome! Please list the polymer type, the rates you were qouted, your screen-pack size, and your profile.

By the way, Zone 1 here in the US is nearest the hopper dischanrge. I've come across some extruders that are numbering their Zones reverse fashion.

Victor,

I'm not familiar with Bausano----is it a counter-rotating (diverging from the top view),co-rotating, parallel or conical.
If you're making pipe, is it rigid PVC,ABS,
HDPE? If PVC, is it powder blend, and are you
doing the compounding?
Is your hopper equipped with a horizontal dosing feed screw to control amount of material entering feed throat?

Finally, as Ken suggests, what are you running, and what conditions are you now
running under?(RPM,amps,back pressure, barrel
and screw heats, adapter-spider-die heats,
pressure or vacuum sizing, etc.

We'll try our best to help if you provide more details!

Victor.
Bouzano machines are great looking ,but i am sorry to tel you that when it comes to production capacity ,it is the lowest in its class.
The MD drive models are very good for compounding and also for profiles, but i assume that you are using it for pipes.
