I am designing twin screw CCR extruder for processing LDPE foams using polyer granules with nucleating agent and physical foaming agent (carbon dioxide gas).

The product dimensions are 1000mm wide x 5mm thick LDPE foam sheet with 0.02g/cc density.

I want technical information for twin screw design as well as foam die design. Can anyone help me with name of books available on subject and their source?

I would suggest that you contact REEDY INTERNATIONAL, as they are a big player in the Foam World. If anyone would know about "special" screw designs, I would think they would.
