1. WHAT ARE THE IDEAL TEMP PARAMETERS FOR THE BARREL,SCREW,T-DIE AND ADAPTOR FOR PROCESSING PVC RIGID OR FOAMING SHEETS ON TWIN SCREW COUNTER ROTATING PARALLEL EXTRUDER.i.e WHAT SHOULD BE THE SCREW TEMP.,DIE AND ADAPTOR TEMP.IS IT EQUIVALENT TO METERING ZONE OR COMPRESSION ZONE OR IT SHOULD BE LOWER THAN THAT? 2.WHEN WE PROCESS PVC SHEETS ,AFTER RUNNING FOR 10-12Hrs IT CATCHS BURNING LINES AT THE CENTRE,SO WHAT WE CAN DO TO DELAY THE BURNING? A burn line or lines, indicates to me that you are either running your product to hot, or there may be a run-a-way controller (perhaps one not "switched ON" to it's PID loop. Could also mean your stabilizer package is inadequate. Have you assessed your stabilizer in a HAAKE or C.W. Brabender Torque Rheometer? IP: Logged |

WE HAVE ASSESSED OUR LEAD BASED STABILISER IN BARBENDER RHEOMETER AND IT IS ADEQUATE.EARLIER WE THOUGHT THAT THE ROUGH SURFACE OF ADAPTOR AND T-DIE COULD BE THE REASON BUT PROBLEM STILL PERSISTED EVEN WHEN WE BROUGHT A NEW T-DIE AND ADAPTOR.WITH BURNING LINE PROBLEM WE HAVE SOME OTHER PROBLEMS LIKE DENT\PUNCTURE ON THE SHEETS AND SOME TIME BLACK BURNT PARTICALS COMES OUT OF THE DIE FOLLOWED BY A DEEPLINES WHICH WE CANNOT CONTROL.WE PROCESS OUR PVC ON THESE TEMP. E1-140C,E2-150C,E3-160C,E4-165,E5-172C,A-160C,DIEZONES(T1-T14)-175C AND ST-155C. ONE MORE THING I WANTED TO ADD THAT WE HAVEn't SEEN SCREW AND BARREL FOR WEAR&TEAR SINCE TWO YEARS.so PLEASE GUIDE US WHAT TO DO? THANKS. IP: Logged |
