IT would be helpful if anyone can inform me the actual production rate for Bausano twin screw model TR2-60

The machine is for pvc process and the main motor is 15 HP. Hope this information help.

PVC has a high viscosity and therefore requires a lot of power to process. I would guess that and output rate of 6 lbs/hr/HP would be typical for specific energy.

Most process can not use all the power available for various reasons, typically 50%, although that can be improved.

With the above numbers I would estimate the typical outut of this extruder at 45 lbs/hr.

With PVC a lot depends on the die backpressure, the temperature sensitivity, and the degree of mixing and fusing required.
