You will be responsible for a major, high-visibility development project that will require you to:

• Design, source, and commission extrusion equipment and tooling for irrigation tubing.
• Analyze multiple solutions and make recommendations.
• Create and adhere to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Present progress updates to upper management.
• Find and evaluate lower cost materials, blends, and processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• 10+ years experience in an extrusion manufacturing environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of coextrusion tooling design for polyethylene tubing or pipe products.
• Familiarity with product testing and qualification procedures.
• Solid experience in justifying and funding capital projects.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self-starter and able to work independently.
• Proven track record as a team player.
• Strong desire to move into managerial responsibilities.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced technical degree.
• Familiar with SPC, DOE, and FMEA.
• Competent in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of the irrigation industry and its products.
