I want to make twin shaft for twin screws. Can anyone help me with the material of construction for the shafts, as well as about heat treatment requirement?

Common materials of construction,

4340 alloy steel.
17-4 Ph Stainless steel
H-11 Tool steel.

Targeted hardness range 42-45 RC,
