I bought HDPE recycled material and it was too soft and has bad smell so How can I make it more crinkly and harder and how can I eliminate the bad smell during extrusion. Bearing in mind that it is used for film blowing to produce plastic bags.

If you could find out what the material was used for previously it might help, for example "Milk Jugs".

I am afraid I do not know what it was used for previously but I want to use it to make t-shirt bags.

I'm thinking that the more processing (heat histories) the softer it will get, so making it softer is easier than making it harder.
