I bought HDPE recycled material and it was too soft and has bad smell so How can I make it more crinkly and harder and how can I eliminate the bad smell during extrusion. Bearing in mind that it is used for film blowing to produce plastic bags.IP: Logged |

If you could find out what the material was used for previously it might help, for example "Milk Jugs".

I am afraid I do not know what it was used for previously but I want to use it to make t-shirt bags. [This message has been edited by Ashamery (edited August 11, 2007).] IP: Logged |

I'm thinking that the more processing (heat histories) the softer it will get, so making it softer is easier than making it harder. IP: Logged |
