I am looking into food processing screw that would allow a 1.3" diameter sphere to be passed from one vessel to another. The sphere has a 0.1" coating of polyethylene and must be transported with out rupturing the shell. Another point is that the screw will be in a water solution and be at the inside roof of the vessel. So the buoyant force will send all the balls up and the screw in theory will transport the ball. I wonder if you have any parts that i could test a auger device to move my spheres.
Look forward to any help at all.
