I'm trying to design a feedscrew, in which i'm coming across types of pitches in variable pitch feedscrews,

1.Constant Acceleration
2.CAT's Method
3.Flex - Timing Curve
4.Full P3-4-5 Curve
5.Backward CAT's curve
Could any one help me by explaining, what all these curves are, and how to form these curves.
