I'm wondering what the impact force on a ring check witht the seat which is attached to the screw driven by a hydraulic motor.What factors do I have to consider and where can I get info/equations to solve this?? thanks IP: Logged |

I think you can start w/ the (injection pressure psi)(contact area sq.in.) to determine the pounds of force on the check ring and rear seat. Bear in mind, that most check ring valves incorporate a compound angle design so the actual shut-off (or contact) area is quite small... tom black pps, inc.
