The traditional adobe block is made by mixing soil in a wheelbarrow, plaster mixer, cement mixer, etc.; and pouring in wood forms to create bricks of various sizes. The newer compressed earth brick, (CEB); is pressed using cement as a stabilizer. I would like to determine the feasibility of extruding abrasive soil mixes, using emulsified asphalt as a stabilizer to produce adobe block. Any recommendations out there?
