I am designing a system for mixing of soils and or turning of compost and need an auger to fit in a standard galvinized metal trash can that will allow matrial to rise in the center and fall down the sides only to be sucked up and elevated again.
The auger need not be fast, but it should not allow compaction prior to dumping as airation in compost is essential. The auger will be driven from the bottom using a method similar to a washing machine with side mouted motor and pullys to provide ample tourqe.
