I am looking for an auger that will compact a dry material.
Can anyone offer a little help?

Rather than using an auger, CIBA SPECIALTIES offers a method of "piling" such materials. It's a spin-off from the pharmeceutical industry.

Works great for all additives, and they can even lower your costs if you allow them to buy all the additives.
