a current design problem which i have undertaken is to design a system for use with pp pipe extrusion to align fibres within the melt.

some ideas considered have been to rotate the mandrel or the die.

any new ideas or affirmation of existing ideas would be a massive help

thanks
neil.

You could ask the fibres if they would be so kind as to align themselves tangentially after extrusion. It usually works for me but you have to ask them nicely.
