If you are having instrument and control problems in more than one spot it is possible you are having dirty power problems, shielding or grounding problems. The resolution of these problems involve proper grounding and shielding procedures, and isolation transformers. It is likely you will need to employ ther services of a qualified electrical engineer to resolve your difficulties. Your problems are not unique, and the above mentioned solutions have worked in many extruder installations in the past.
