On a very short notice I would like some information about processing TPE. We have a segmented twin-screw extruder which can be adjusted or perhaps we may need to aquire a single-screw extruder. Which option is best? In the case of adjusting our twin-screw what is the best screwdesign? We would also like to use the extruder for woodfiber- or metallic filled polyolefines and ABS

Do you want to compound these materials, or just melt them?

Are you making a shape or pellets?

We are making pellets. We've by then already made a masterbatch which has to be mixed with raw material. We also need to take into account the use of fibers and metallics. For the best optical effect the shear rate should be low.
